Theodore R. Allen, III - Author.  Validational Speaker.  Entrepreneur.  TR, as he is called is the President and CEO of DivineCrossingx, Inc. a Training and Develop consulting firm designed to enrich the minds of clients through dynamic validational speeches and workshops.  He is the author of The Steps of a Good Man…  Discovering Your Path to Successful Living. 

TR is a decorated 11-year United States Navy veteran and a proud military service member who served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm and the Persian Gulf Wars.  After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Education and Training from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale (SIU-C), he has gone on to utilize his skills as a training professional in the telecommunications industry.  TR has dedicated over 16 years as a mentor and tutoring professional for numerous programs and he is also involved in a number of volunteer and professional organizations.

 

Brenda Coleman - a reading teacher, a literacy specialist, and a literacy consultant. She provides professional learning to teachers and administrators on topics including Reconceptualizing Literacy Instruction, Eliminating the Achievement Gap, and Culturally Relevant Teaching.  Ms. Coleman is involved with improving the plight of children within the school environment as well as outside of the school.  She currently serves as the chairperson of Atlanta CARES, an organization that recruits mentors for children in local mentoring organizations throughout Metro Atlanta.

 

 

 

Avon Drummond  -  Ms. Drummond is a motivational speaker and founder of the Institute for Inner Change, a program whose mission is to help people decide, design, and create their life experience.  Since 2004 Ms. Drummond has been a registered representative for securities with PFS Investments, a licensed life and health agent for Primerica Life.  As an independent agent she helps families and individuals eliminate debt, save, and invest money and protect their income. 

 

Ms. Drummond is the founder of two businesses, The Women’s Success Network, Inc. in 1999 and Kids Kamp in 1983.  She has been a consultant for two companies and she holds a Masters Degree in Project Management and has served on numerous boards and participated in several organizations.

 

Denise Dyer  -  Denise Dyer is an Author, Inspirational Speaker and Spiritual Life Coach. She is a graduate and distinguished member of the Inaugural Class of Inner Visions Institute of Spiritual Development. Denise supports people in turning their vision into reality, as they create the life they truly desire!  She is passionate about working with entrepreneurs, artists, and the modern-day goddess. 

 

Denise has facilitated various workshops and is also a former radio show host for the Small Business Power Hour.  

Most recently, Denise has launched her first Inspirational CD, entitled “Hold the Vision.”  The CD is a guide for entrepreneurs, business leaders, and anyone with a vision. It offers 10 easy steps in turning your vision into reality. Denise Dyer is a firm believer that anyone can create the life their heart truly desires, because "You've Got the Power!"

 

Rory T. Edwards currently is the President of Edwards Educational Consulting LLC., a consulting firm that designs and implements proven methodologies and solutions which increase the academic and social advancement of students, schools, parents and communities in life’s outcomes. He has conducted numerous workshops, lectures and keynote addresses in over twenty states and abroad.  

He also served as the President of the New Britain, Connecticut, branch of the NAACP from 1996 until 2005.  Mr. Edwards holds a B.S. in Human Services from Springfield College, an M. Ed in Urban Educational Leadership from Cambridge College, and is currently pursuing his Ph. D in Urban Education Policy Development. He was the Dean of the highly regarded Amistad Academy in New Haven, Connecticut and in prior years taught high school, middle school and elementary school.   

He currently consults as the National Director and Founder of “The Once a Man Twice a Child” Academy in New Britain, Connecticut, an academy that concentrates on educational and social empowerment.

 

 

Cynthia Harper - Founder of My Favorite Charities® (MFC), www.myfavcharities.com a national fundraising community empowerment company specializing in gifting those who give tirelessly of themselves with little to no pay. 

MFC cautiously connects grass-root organizations with major corporations in developing salaries for founders, resolve to life issues and funding for projects. Their mission and passion is to serve as a key facilitator between corporations/donors, non-profit, and grass-roots organizations to reinvest in the health of communities. MFC's goal is to link non-profit organizations with corporate relationships who share "one vision." MFC believes linking "one vision" can bring social, economic and innovative change to make a lasting impression on the world.

Cynthia is also a dynamic motivational speaker and spoken word extraordinaire. Her presentation style is energetic, thought-provoking, challenging, content-rich, and spiritual.

 

 

Larry Jemison, Jr.  -  Larry Jemison is a powerful, energetic, author, consultant, and motivational speaker. He is the President of The Jemison Group based in Norcross, Georgia where the primary focus is “to enhance your social and business acumen, which ensures that success becomes your only option”. Larry earned a Masters degree in Business from Babson College.  Prior to this Larry earned a Marketing Degree from Tuskegee University, where he graduated with Honors. 

 

He has spent over 11 years in the corporate sector in the areas of Finance, Training, and Marketing and Sales, with companies such as FedEx, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and Lucent Technologies.  Larry recently published his first book, “How to Make it in a World that Wasn’t Made for You”.

 

 

Dr. Shilene Johnson  -  Dr. Johnson has taught every age group from pre-school through adults. For 23 years she worked with teens and young adults in public schools.  Dr. Johnson ‘s honest belief that there is absolutely no individual that she cannot teach.  “I was born to teach. It is God’s gift to me”.  Her passion is to teach children our future leaders in the subjects of education and pursuing their passion.  She is also an entrepreneur of a retail and educational consultant business. 

 

 

Erika McKay  -  Erika’s inspirational story of overcoming life’s adversities has motivated many to take charge of their destiny. She shares her story and much more in her book Season to Succeed. Erika’s messages will compel you to achieve ultimate success by enlarging your vision, shaping your attitude and tapping into your greatness!

 

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Emory University, Atlanta, GA and now trains, consults, and speaks for corporations and organizations throughout the world enriching lives. She does so with eloquence, a unique style and a spirit of excellence! Ms. McKay serves on the advisory board of Frasernet, Inc. and the Board of Directors of the Euro-American Women’s Council New York, NY. Her civic duties include American Business Women’s Association and the Business Women’s Network.

 

 

Jabez Shakur - A spoken word poet/author, entrepreneur, businessman, real estate enthusiast and motivational coach for youth.  In addition he is a recent Morehouse College graduate. Jabez Shakur can be described as an innovative, inspirational, extraordinary human being dedicated to helping others reach their full potential. 

As a youth, Jabez demonstrated deviant behavior n gang-related activities until he found faith and decided to follow his mother’s guidance.  Jabez became involved in prison ministries and vowed to redirect his life to focus on positive efforts.  He travels nationwide to speak to youth about bettering themselves and having self-confidence.  He also spends countless hours teaching the value of personal financial literacy, owning one’s own business, and investing in commercial real estate.  Jabez has addressed more than 50 audiences and 50,000 people worldwide and has appeared on the Judge Hatchett Show as a mentor.

 

 

Nicole Steele  -  Visionary, trainer, facilitator, speaker, writer, and youth advocate, Nicole Steele is the founder and Executive Director of Diamond In The Rough Youth Development Program, Inc., an award winning, faith based, non-profit mentoring and leadership program which serves girls ages 4-18 years old.  Through her personal testimony, over 15 years corporate experience, and 14 years working with youth and young adults in various capacities, Steele has committed her life to empowering girls around the world emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, physically and financially.  Steele desires to further the mission of Diamond In The Rough by equipping youth workers, parents, volunteers and program staff with the tools and resources to meet the ever changing needs of youth and young adults. 

 

By sharing her insight through business consulting, workshops, training, and resources, Steele seeks to also empower, encourage, and equip adults who are committed to reaching youth and helping them develop into productive leaders of the next generation.  She is convinced that together we can truly transform the World...One child, one family, one community at a time.

 

 

Rodney J. Tookes, Jr. - Rodney began employment with Georgia Power Company in December 1999.  He has had an array of assignments from data analysis to lease administration for Corporate Facilities.  He also serves on the Citizens Budget Committee for Clayton County Public Schools.  In July 2007, Rodney was elected to the Board of Directors of Literacy Volunteers of Metro Atlanta.    

His work experience includes five years of experience in the field of juvenile justice, which includes working as a Juvenile Correctional Officer.  Rodney also served as an enlisted member (Specialist Four) in the active U.S. Army and as a commissioned officer (1st Lieutenant) in the U.S. Army Reserve.    

In December 2005, Rodney earned a Master of Science in Management degree with a concentration in Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness from Troy University-Atlanta.  He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Georgia Southwestern College in Americus, Georgia.

 

 

Ante' V. Williams  -  A Senior Regional Representative of the Georgia Student Finance Commission.  He is assigned the task of working with some high schools and colleges throughout the state to promote state student financial aid services such as federal, state, and private sources of financial aid for students and parents.  In addition, he provides instruction on federal and state aid applications and regulations. 

He is a Georgia native and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from DeVry University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
